VFL/AFL LEGEND PRINT - STEPHEN KERNAHAN

A$80.00

Stephen Kernahan is a living legend of the Carlton Football Club. He came across the border from South Australia with a reputation for influencing contests and dominating matches at centre half forward. Within a year at Carlton, he was made captain. By the end of his second year, he was lifting the 1987 premiership cup. Kernahan was a natural born leader who led the Blues for a record number of games. He bookended his early career with another premiership in 1995 with the all-conquering side only losing two matches for the season. Unbelievable in the air and pretty handy when the ball made its way to ground level, “Sticks” always seemed to know where the goals were.  My drawing captures the Carlton legend lining up for another attempt on goal, and sits alongside a list of his career highlights.

PAPER TYPE - Printed on beautiful 330gsm Ilford Galerie Lustre Photo Duo.

PAPER SIZE - A2 42 x 59.4cm (16.5 x 23.4”)
