Mike Fitzpatrick. Not your average player. Came across from Subiaco, Western Australia to play in the VFL and immediately had a profound impact on the Carlton Football Club. Two time premiership captain and integral leader during the early 80’s. His ruck work and synergy with the mosquito fleet is the stuff of legend. Off the field, Fitzpatrick is an alumni of Oxford University and former AFL Chairman.
